HISTORY

1981

Texser is founded by Sergio Crivelli after a successful career working for Wrangler jeans as a Production Manager; Sergio starts the business in small premises not far from Oporto Airport.

Wrangler subsequently become a client and Texser is soon producing high quality garments for them and the company's reputation spreads rapidly.

1984

Texser forms a partnership with Portuguese people to found Crialme, a factory producing men's classical tailored trousers. Sergio expands the company further by employing several Italian technicians to set up and run production and quality control processes for the business.

1986

Experiencing more growth inline with business developments, another move to larger offices is imminent.

1996

Texser begins heavy investment in the development of the cut and sewn knits area, becoming one of Portugal's leaders. Crialme starts to produce tailored blazers too, now employing over 600 staff and making over 50% of Texser´s production, mainly tailored suits.

2001

Now established for nearly twenty years and still growing, Texser purchases its own current premises.

2006

Texser celebrates its 25th Birthday and the success they have experienced in these years producing for the following prestigious brands: San Remo, C.P Company, New England, Peter Hadley, Colmar, GFT, C.K. Jeans, Versace, Y.S.L, Montana, Maxmara, Emporio Armani, Prada, Paul & Shark, Armani Le Collezioni and many others.
